2023 JSKA World Championships in Germany

The team to represent South Africa at the JSKA World Championships in Lübeck, Germany has been chosen! The Championships will take place in from August 10 to August 14 next year and will be the 10^th JSKA World Championships. We look forward to forging new bonds and competing on the international stage.

Appointment of the Kenshushei

We have started running a junior instructors’ programme from this year. The Kenshushei programme aims to raise younger Karate students in terms of their Karate skill, personal development and as future instructors. We have had various successful Kenshushei events this year, including a trip to Bela-Bela and an easter-egg hunt!

The Karate Festival

In November, a Karate Festival will be hosted by the JSKA headquarters in Pretoria. The Festival will welcome countries from Africa and dojos from all over South Africa for a week-long event. The Festival will include various training seminars and workshops, a tournament and a Dan grading, amongst others.
